Our white lilac is blooming outside the bedroom window right now.  Their scent is the perfect lullaby and wake up call all in one.

I love hardy hen and chicks!  They grow in front of my wife’s shop and withstand the trampling of careless feet and survive in a cloud of traffic smog that kills most other plants.

Congrats to my darling wife!

Cleaveland Pear trees have a more uniform and columnar shape than Bradford Pears, and, in my opinion, more beautiful blossoms.
